The SGBA Annual Conference will take place at Lemoyne Baptist Church in Toledo, OH from July 13th through the 16th with Brother Jim Elliff as the keynote speaker.

The conference starts Monday evening at 8:00 PM and ends Thursday noon. This year’s topic: Behind the Smile: The Inner Battles of the Christian

Discouragement, worry, pride and debilitating bitterness are the enemies of passion and effective ministry for Christ. All Christians face these inner issues at some time or another. They meet us behind the smiling face we project to others. And when we are not battling them ourselves, we can be sure other Christians are. Jim Elliff will attempt to help us face these persistent adversaries in a Biblical and practical way and will point the way to restore our passion for the glory of Christ.

About Jim Elliff:

Brother Jim is an author, world wide conference speaker, and is the founder and president of Christian Communicators Worldwide. From 1970 to 1974 Jim earned his BA from Ouachita Baptist University, followed by a Masters from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Jim has a great love for the local church. In 1996 Jim was instrumental in planting a new church in the Kansas City northland area, Though traveling extensively, he serves as counsel to the elders in this exciting new work. Jim also has started a Kansas City pastor’s fraternal and helps coordinate various activities through this fellowship of cooperating churches, including the Evenings of Reformed Preaching held at the historic Park University chapel.

The SGBA Youth Camp will take place at Camp Michindoh in Hillsdale, MI from July 13th through the 17th.

Eligible campers include youth entering grades 4-12. Camp begins on Monday with lunch and ends on Friday with breakfast. Cost is $210 if a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is postmarked by June 1st. Otherwise the costs is $235.

The purpose of our youth camp is to introduce young people to the principles for Christian living in the Lord Jesus Christ through a Biblically balanced program of spiritual, physical, and social activities.

Please contact SGBA Camp Director Mr. Curt Aldridge at wcacurtis@yahoo.com or 616.970.4083 for more information.
